FLUX ARRÊTE

In a world that never stops, pause—arrêter—in a place for
dialogue, personal growth, reflection, and inner strength.

At Ipso Academy, we offer training in mental health and psychosocial support, specifically aimed at people working with refugees and migrants, whether professionally or privately. Our academy is also a creative platform for developing new ideas and provides residencies for artists in exile. Here, individuals seeking personal growth or temporary support can find a place for dialogue, renewed strength, and inner peace.

With our experienced team of professional experts, we facilitate dialogue, promote cultural understanding, and cultivate empathy to create a sense of belonging and empowerment for everyone.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

We prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that our programs and services are accessible to all. Transparency, integrity, and freedom of expression are at the core of our approach to ensure that every voice is heard and valued.

We advocate for equal rights, peace, and reconciliation, both on a personal and collective level.

OUR VISION

With our Flux Arrête program, we aim to offer inclusive and accessible support:

For those in need of education, personal growth, recovery, and renewal, our residencies, personal retreats, and training programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of people with and without migration backgrounds.

We strive to contribute to a world where every individual can experience acceptance, empathy, and support:
We help to care.

OUR MISSION

We offer a safe and inclusive space where individuals have the opportunity to fully and autonomously realize their potential.

We achieve this through tailored programs in Values-Based Counseling (VBC), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), training, and inner work retreats, as well as residencies for artists in exile and humanitarian organization staff to develop innovative ideas in the fields of MHPSS, peace, and reconciliation.

ABOUT OUR LOCATION

The Ipso Academy is nestled in the landscape of the West-Allgäu and offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

With 10 single and double rooms, as well as multi-bed rooms with private bathrooms, we can accommodate up to 16 people. Whether you’re seeking moments of solitude or opportunities for shared experiences, we provide the necessary balance of peace and community.

Two spaces—a modern open area and the cozy atmosphere of an old farmhouse—invite our guests to gather for workshops, meetings, and moments of reflection. We aim for it to be a place that inspires, nurtures, and fosters connections.

And then: step out of the house and into nature.
