1. VBC Training to Become a Licensed VBC Counselor
If you are qualified in the social or therapeutic field and are interested in becoming a VBC Counselor, we warmly invite you to join our network and apply for training at our Academy.
With VBC and our MHPSS offerings, we provide:
- A culturally sensitive, values-based method—Value-Based Counseling—that does not pathologize but instead builds an empathetic, symmetrical relationship with those seeking support.
- Training that sharpens self-awareness and broadens horizons.
- A career with purpose, offering many opportunities for self-expression and a large community space.
We continuously offer courses for training to become licensed VBC Counselors for psychologists, social workers, and educators who want to work in a humanitarian context.

2. Training for Professionals Working with Refugees and People with Migration Backgrounds
Building Bridges in Exciting Times: Embracing Differences and Positive Development
This training focuses on the challenges of communication in an intercultural context: Is what we hear truly meant the way we understand it?
Additionally, it addresses social roles, cultural and social identity as a construct of values from different societies: Who am I today in this society?
And most importantly: How do we personally find a good balance between our social and professional commitments and our personal private lives with all their demands and needs?
Alongside our content-based work, we offer movement meditation in the morning, one-on-one conversations, massage, sauna, a Coolness Training, and refreshing walks in nature.
Group Size: Maximum of 10 participants
Start: Every Monday at 2:00 PM, Ends Friday at 12:00 PM
